Family, since I last shared with you, much has happened and I did not have the luxory of a laptop for a length of time to share with you….but now i do:) While in Over seas, a lot of things were in the making in my heart, as well as, in the process of dying.

One Sunday morning, while standing in Baku, the Lord spoke to me and said that He wanted me to stop defending myself and to let Him be my defense…

This didn’t make total sense to me until about 12am that next morning. I received some troubling news from back home that was a wave slamming against my boat of trust. Normally this would thrust me into the defensive corner, and cause me to cut the person or people who had cut me but it was significantly different this time. I was given wisdom on grace and forgiveness and how the Lord views us when we are dead set on breaking His heart. This all to say, inevitably I would learn how I am to love God.

Through the lens of literally getting knocked off of my own path onto what the Lord would have for me in August in joining YWAM for a 5 month sanctification mill, I can tell you with all CERTAINTY that we are NOT our own. In hind-sight puzzle pieces were cut with laser precision and are slowly being fit together to paint picture of a faithful relationship…even when I didn’t know that I was being loved.

All there is to be said at this point is:

_Third attempt to go to Texas is today…

_I have Family 8,000 miles away, that I never knew existed, but I love with all my heart

_God has a heart, just because He is Lord of the universe, doesn’t mean He doesn’t get love-sick when we go after other lovers..

And home in Orange County is like Neverland in a lot of ways. People never want to grow up, they never want to know what is outside the veil, and it is a place that one can forget all that He has experienced if he chooses and live in blissful ignorance while the world outside screams “wake up!”.

Ill fill you in on more soon..

Family,

I can only tell you that I have learned more and more over this past few months the importance of talking to Father. As Ive previously stated, I do not believe that we can do anything or go in any direction, with clarity and assurance without fervent prayer.

Thank each and every one of you for your support. Without the financial, we would have no practical. Without the Prayer, we would have no warfare. Without the pastoral, we would have no softness of heart…each one of you brothers and sisters has played an ever important role in this. and every trip to come. Whether involving me or others…the 10/40 window is in desperate need.

16 weeks in total, 4 weeks in to this trip and …knee deep in conviction and new understanding to the call of Christ.

Father has given me 10 guys so far to build relationship and to reason with. One of them seem to be the most consistent in his searching out reason and logic, so I have emboldened myself to the ears that will listen. He is a fellow of a sweet nature, but not weak in any form. He stands and defends very firm his beliefs, and will debate you if he sees fit. I pray for him and earnestly for the others that they may see before my time is up that there is One King, yet I may not see the fruit of our labor while we are here in person.

Its tough when you don’t see direct fruit…to continue with confidence and in faith, but we were not called to see results, we were called to bare fruit in our own lives by obedience:) so continue we will, for we walk by faith and not sight.

The culture here amazes me. Far from being tainted by immorality, though it exists. it is major taboo to speak or act out any sort of sexual immorality. This may seem like a strange observation, but in the place of its lack you will find manors, respect, honor and shame, relational value, parents that love and discipline and children who honor such. You find 20-30 year olds still blushing and waiting for their Mr. or Mrs right.

The enemy that is the pollution of mind and soul-Sexual Immorality which has so burdened America, has not yet jumped the back of the country in which I currently reside. Yet in its absence, you find another- Hopelessness.

This spirit of Hopelessness keeps people from ever searching past the boundaries that have kept them blind and deaf for so long. There is so much truth laying in wait in this city, so much hope and joy and life…and all that is missing is someone to plug the cord into the wall for unthinkable love and life to course its veins and awaken the heart of the problem.

That someone is US Family. I believe with all of my heart that the call is clear and sure, and the guide is reliable and relentless. At the very heart of this you have a Loving Father after his children who are poor and desperate and dying….and I believe what He says is true. And because of this I feel that these hearts and souls are worth every ounce of my energy. I wish I had more time on this trip, BUT I believe Father is not finished with me yet:)

I cant wait to hear all the wonderful things he is doing in your lives. I love you guys, All Praise and honor is due to the Most High God and his name is ISA AL MASIH

see you soon

Family,

Its been 6 weeks since I’ve come here and needless to say I’ve learned a lot. One of the most significant things that has been revealed to me is the Love of God.

He loves us so incredibly much it hurts, what is it that makes it so incredibly difficult to love Him back? His heart -a Father’s heart; His arms extended out to His creation; His voice- beckoning us to Him; His Son-Sacrificed to redeem us;His eyes-ever on us; His presence-ever with us; His Word-a lamp to our darkened path; His love-never conditional, never failing…My love- fickle and fleeting.

I have had 5 weeks of training so far. One week on each of the topics covered: The Word; Missions; The Father heart of God; The Holy Spirit; and one week devoted to the accomplishments done by the Father at the conference in Colorado. I am so blessed to be able to go this way and be a part of this.

This is much more than a once in a lifetime opportunity, this IS the opportunity to live. This is an opportunity to wage war on death in the 10/40 window and to show the work that was done by the Almighty. My hope is that I will not to ever turn back, I will not to quit until each and every person in my path has at least had the chance to meet Him. I can not be anything but compelled by this great love. He has provided for me once again my practical and spiritual needs, I can not quit, nor do I want to.

The laborers are few, the work is abundant, the time is short and now. How can they know unless someone is sent? OH how He Loves us….with His very breath and life He loves us.

I was so worried going into this, all I had was faith. The first few weeks I was plagued by unbelief and thought even that I might be on the wrong path. He proved me wrong in my unbelief and confirmed a hundred times over I am indeed with Him, and He with me….and you.PRAISE GOD!!

Romans 8 records “what the flesh could not do… God did…” I know two things to be true and evident. I will never on this earth, be perfect I will always wrestle with what I will not to do, and fight to do what my heart knows to be good and right and true.

I also know that the work to be done will not be of me, but it will be through me….I just need to be willing to step out and go, and never ever quit….no matter what….never. I must be natural, and God must be super-natural. I must shut up and listen, and He must speak. I must be willing, and He divine…. I cant do it without Him, and I must do it because of the life that is in me….it wants out. “But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works…”

I am preparing my heart and soul for the Middle East in November. I need prayer. There is a people over there that He loves…. Please pray for the 10/40 window.

I MUST confess that I am a sinner Saved by grace…everyday. I must agree with Him and blow where He has called(john 3:8)… ” to the nations…” And I pray you would consider joining me. However that may be. By my side on the frontlines…so be it, Long live the King. Sending me from home, then so be it and Praises to God. In the Spirit…all the more!! Lord knows that I am in need of great faith.

I love you guys, time is far spent. The only way I can think to love Him back is with the only thing I have, my very breath. I am and have nothing else. I am a wretched, dirty, blind beggar who is and has nothing without the Father. The Holy Spirit is now in me and presses me forward. I want love Jesus with my life, as He loved me with His. I thank you all for your prayer, your consistent exhortations and uplifting words. Your teaching and baring with me in much foolishness as I learn. I love you deeply and I know that the Lord will prevail in these broken bodies of ours. “He who begun a good work….”

To Him who is faithful and true be the Glory. May God make my life a banner raised high.

….impacts your life forever..

As you know, Las Vegas is known for brazen nature and flagrant abundance of sin. In 2008 “Sin City” was also given the title of “The Suicide Capital of America”. With an already high rate of a few per month, in just 10 years the suicide rate jumped to a terrible rate of one suicide per day. …there are no two ways around it, sin yields death.

“ For the wages of sin are death” Romans 6:23

If that is not enough, Las Vegas happens to be the epicenter for human trafficking in North America. Little children as well as young teens are being kidnapped daily, and forced into slavery.Today, 27 million are in slavery…”these are His little ones….what are we going to do about it?”

The Abolitionist DTS from Robert Dobbins on Vimeo.

The laborers here are eager, but few indeed. Prayer warriors are eagerly and earnestly seeking this city’s title to be changed to “Saved City”.

The organization I am with is passionate to not only reach the nations, but this city as well. Where we are based is in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. We run a community outreach center here which provides a food distribution for local families, as well as English classes and Career workshops.

This community is ramped with drugs and prostitution. There is a unsurmountable amount of violence due to gang activity and children are getting started in these things as young as 10 years old. I know that these things are probably no shock to you..All we need to do is turn on the news this evening and find this in every city….so lets change one.

…may the lamb receive the full reward of his suffering

The second call to Arms: death.

God has opened my eyes to Christianity in ways that are hard for me to express over these past few years…Learning the statistics and the seeing the need, I have not really ever been able to return to the life I once lived.I truly feel I will never be the same.

As you read before. I believe prayer is the only place that a Christian seeking the Father’s will, can understand his/her role in this life.

There is no place else that a man can see, hear and go with all clarity and confidence, than in prayer.

Prayer is the beginning of all things spirit led. it is the First Call to Arms. I believe very strongly that a man can not say with assurance “the Lord led me to such and such a thing..” unless that call and leading was born in a time of sitting down, shutting up and listening for the direction of the Holy Spirit-prayer.

The next step is death to self.

“Self denial is the precipice of life where most, fearful of the unknown, ensure they turn away at all costs.“

Self-denial is a foreign concept in our culture. Though death to self is widely used, quoted and sited in churches across America, It seems to have been severely underestimated. Self denial and to lay down ones rights, means more than what we have prepared ourselves to accept.

“Indeed a concept that is foreign to humanity. We live in a world in which the protection and exaltation of individual rights has become an obsession” -Lauren Cunningham [Making Jesus Lord]

First i would like to address the thinking that tends to permeate our minds… it is born out of an affluent culture that does not promote many selfless living habits, if any.

Out if this culture we have birthed something named the prosperity gospel. This is not the Gospel but another teaching which desires to pervert us in the faith. It declares that if you walk with Him and have enough faith, you will receive many material and monetary blessings. Though this teaching is primarily set on receiving, the prosperity gospel is not limited to preachers who preach “name it and claim it” messages. Nor is it solely in the realm of those who preach “if you have enough faith Jesus will give you anything..”“God wants you to have life more abundantly, so that means money and success” and on and on…

It also includes the ideologies and examples that express:

“if you have God you will not suffer”

“ I became a Christian and everything that hurt or was hard in my life stopped”

“As soon as you find Jesus, you are destined for understanding and comfort in your heart”

“ I am a Christian, why is life so hard?”

That last question will only arise in person’s mind if 1 of or all 3 of the following are true.

they have never been told that they would have tribulation and therefore don’t understand.

They believed in part or the whole of the prosperity gospel, weather they knew it or not.

They have made up their own version of the truth and choose it daily.

THE ONLY reason I broach the prosperity teaching is to express my deep concern in revealing the truth to those who may be deceived into entitlement. I do believe God Loves us, I do believe that he blesses us, and wants His best for us… I also have to clarify that I am not stating simply because you are Christian that you WILL suffer.

You may not…

Yet it is clear in scripture that this world “is not our home”; “that we will have tribulation”;” all those who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution”.

It is worth every one of the precious lives that Jesus died for, and who were bought at a price, to examine themselves to confirm that they are indeed in the faith….and not quenching the spirit to avoid the truth.

*If you immediately think to yourself while reading this…“pshh..I’m good, because.. [fill in the blank]” I love you, but you’re not…if you have any assuming mindset, you may never discover all that He has for you. God is exactly that, He is God…therefore, though we can know some of His characteristics “Who can know the mind of God” “His ways are unsearchable”

the same God who spoke man out dust, also spit in that dust and healed a mans eyes. Not exactly predictable behavior.

…so Examine yourself in humility, make sure you are in a place that expects the unexpected… it is good to do so.

Though self denial is so against what we’ve known or regard, it will allow you to come to Him in a more effective manner “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble”.

Luke 9: 57-62

captures a sobering truth that Jesus was trying to get across. Self denial.

Here, those that desired to follow, much like those who desire to become Christian now…needed to know that there is a cost…And Jesus is not about to let someone deceive themselves into thinking its easy.

When we become Christian there is no difference now, than when Jesus spoke to these men.

One who desired to live Godly, had to quit, lay down, stop everything that made him or her independent…Everything that was familiar and everything that furthered their lives on their own. If he was to follow, he had to die to self.

…no gray.

It was a call to something that looked a lot like a reckless abandonment. A careless throwing away of anything that this life had to offer, and a falling to their knees to ask. “What now Father?””Where now Father”

The 12, did they quit their jobs? Yes

Did they leave their families? Yes

Did they set aside everything they did, and yield to the call? Yes

Should you do the same? What do you think? How does this apply to us corporately as well as individually?….Ask God…It would not be appropriate for me say so. I can only point to the integrity of scripture.

I can say that every Christian including myself, if searching after the Lord, will find:

The Lord is ordered, but His ways are higher.

The Lord is good, but we were promised there would be suffering and difficulty.

The Lord is Love, but we will be hated for His names sake.

The Lord has called us, but we need to be WILLING to go.

The Lord has our example, and He suffered

now on the flip side of this, we find a need in scripture as well as in the world today.

HOWEVER…this need is highly uncomfortable, dangerous, sometimes lonely and scary. It pushes people to the very true prayer of “God if you don’t come through, I die”.

…The Harvest.

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few?

Why is it in a world that is 33% Christian, the laborers are few?

Jesus said to “Consider the harvest”….do the research

…find out where we are needed and fill the need.

The Lord has called His people to go out to every Nation (grk: ethnos ”people group”. Not political border) and preach the Gospel. Its important to note that the word nation in the NT refers to people groups.

In looking at Geo-political borders we find that Christianity gas reached every country.

then where is the need? In the Greek this word means people groups. According to Gordon Conwell University, there are approx 24,000 people groups. This covers every tribe and tongue out there…13,500 of these have not even the slightest idea of who Jesus is.

“but the US needs Jesus too. Why would I sell all that I have and go preach abroad when the mission field is here? I don’t feel called to go…”

Good question. You are correct in thinking that. After all it was to JUDEA first in the Great commission.

However, can you pull up a map of America, and point out a spot that if someone wanted to know about Jesus, they wouldn’t be able to find Him? We are blessed blessed blessed!

We are commanded to go, the call came.

Kieth Greene stated in his last message he wrote:

You don’t know how many people I’ve met who have said to me “Keith, I agree that more people need to go to the mission field, but I’ve never heard God tell me to go.”

Well, the truth is that God has already told you to go in His Word. In fact, He commands you to go… “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.” ( Mark 16:15) That’s right… YOU ARE CALLED!

In fact, if you don’t go, you need a specific calling from God to stay home. Has God definitely told you not to “go” somewhere outside your country to preach the Gospel? If He hasn’t, then you’d better start praying WHERE to go, instead of IF you should go – for again, you’re already called!

http://www.lastdaysministries.org/Articles/1000008651/Last_Days_Ministries/LDM/Discipleship_Teachings/Keith_Green/Why_YOU_Should.aspx

How He is going to do this in your life, only you will know.

Where you are to go, only you will know.

What you are to accomplish this, only you will know.

….and you will only know all these things in prayer, if you are willing to go ANYWHERE and DO ANYTHING.

No bias.

A bias on our part, produces silence on His. If our lips speak “YES LORD” and our hearts speak”Only here here and here…is where I will go”…If we are half hearted and lukewarm…double minded and doubtful, how should we expect to receive anything from Him? This will put a blanket over the Spirit’s voice…thus causing us to sin ” a man who knows to do good and does not do it, to that man it is sin”

Yet He still gives more grace and suffers long with us for He says:

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”

This is clear that simply because God is faithful in our lives, doesn’t mean we are.

This can all be changed by a willing heart, a searching heart. Your soul is His, Your life is His, Your breath and hands and feet and eyes and mouth and love and abilities and very existence is His.

-I only type all this because I truly love you and hope to do what I can to get the information out there. My deepest desire is to see this world know Him. It is also my heart to have the church wake up to the God that lives inside of them, and to cease yielding to fear.

“If we mobilized as a unified body, with one purpose, unifying our resources, and were willfully yielded to the Holy Spirit; We would make such an impact in this world, that the 100 year old 10/40 window, would be shattered and the Great Commission would be fulfilled in just 5 years!”…if…

**this is based on 500,000 mission minded, willing people going into the field…thats it….thats only 100 people from 5000 churches that are willing to lay down their lives.
…there are some 1.5 million churches in America.

Why is self denial imperative? Because…

THE 10/40 WINDOW: 10 degrees above the equator, to 40 degrees above the equator.( term coined by Louie Plow)

3.4 billion are out of the reach of the Gospel

2 billion of them have never heard the name of Jesus.

there are no places on the US map that you can point to that are out of the reach of the Gospel

before march of 2003, there were 35,000 evangelical Christians in Iraq

the work is getting done, but we are still only sending 4% if the worlds missionaries into the unreached regions.

A pastor in Iraq said that he was grateful for the overthrowing of Saddam. He said that the “Christians in America should come to Iraq to see how Christianity is done there, that the further west you go, Christianity is more and more like a business“

…In northern India and the Himalayas

OR do what is right and take it up with scripture.

Matthew 15:24 – Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Matthew 15:25 – For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”

Matthew 15:26 – What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Titus 2:1 – For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

Titus 2:12 – It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

Luke 9:23-26Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24)For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. 25)What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? 26)If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the

There is a battle raging within us. This is not a new one by any stretch of the imagination, but most certainly has attained new attributes. It is the age old “Flesh against the Soul” but has evolved into a beast. I find intricate levels of confusion as I try to keep one hand gripping onto my own heart, and the other reaching out for the heart of my Lord.

As “A man who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom“, so am I in my pursuit to hold fast to that which the Lord is asking me to trust Him in. OH! what agony it is to be a man divided…unstable in all my ways. I find solace in church, fellowship and all that is related to His wonderful word; In the same I find tumult because of my yielding to two masters. Who will free me from this body?

The city in which I currently reside seems to be in a spiritual “Arm-bar”…this scares me some because the evil one is thieving from my family and from me. Not that the enemy can provide such a wall that God could not destroy with the least bit of ease, but on the other side of that very same coin, that ground which is left unclaimed as the Kingdom of Heaven’s … is left for the scavengers and the wolves to apprehend, and divide amongst their blood thirsty appetites.

When communist rule had ordered the Christian’s to leave china in 1949,a particular testimony screams to me from out of the reluctant exodus. A Chinese pastor is tearfully saying his last goodbye to the missionaries that had brought the glorious message of Hope to his people. Along with these broken hearted converts, stood communist soldiers on each of the four walls, as well as at the door. These who patterned the walls bared a countenance of that only matched with the loveless. As the pastor stuttered through his tears, he turned, sweeping his hand in a motioning reference to the soldiers and said “And why are these men here?”
Without waiting for an answer he spoke again “They are not here because government has failed, but because we believers have failed in prayer and witness!” a bitter self indictment.

In my uneducated, shot in the dark guesses of what we are facing when it comes to the spiritual, I hardly know what school of thought to associate myself with. However, even with out the comfort of a group to belong to, I know what I read and what I see.

It seems very much to me that in the way failure of my prayer life has lent the ground of my heart to the enemy of my flesh; In like manner, a people failing in taking ground for the Kingdom of God, have left their land vulnerable and even welcoming the armies of Hell.
I love you guys more then anyone of you will ever know. I have failed in showing the fruit of that love to some of you by letting myself get in the way, but if there is one word I could share with my family of Christ before I die it would be this:

Pray…for me , for you, for your husbands, for your wives, for your shepherds, for your children, for your government, for the LOST, for the rest of your time, not as one who beats the air but as soldiers not entangled with the affairs of this vapor of an existence.

Oswald Chambers said: ” The majority of us saints are sound asleep to the devastation going on, we shall come under the curse of MEROZ if we do not rouse ourselves up and stand with God against the mighty”

“MEROZ”: Meroz is only mentioned once in scripture and has a strange fate, shared with that of Chorazin (Matt. 11:21), to be preserved from oblivion only by the record of a curse that was sentenced upon it. One must notice that the curse upon Meroz was NOT because of what they did, but rather because of what they didn’t do.

Judges 5:23 records…”Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the LORD, ‘Utterly curse its inhabitants; Because they did not come to the help of the LORD, To the help of the LORD against the warriors.’

excerpt “Communist Rule” Leonard Ravenhill
excerpt “The Curse of Meroz” Oswald Chambers.
Thank you guys for your service.

THIS IS NOT A CRY FOR PRAYER FOR MYSELF. THIS IS A SHOUT THAT PRAYER IS NECESSARY TO ALL BELIEVERS AS A WEAPON!

GO:

It’s been 1 week and I do indeed feel “stretched”. The Lord has placed me with a wonderful group of people, This will be good time for sanctification. The first few lectures have really grounded a lot of the desires, awareness and vision that the Lord has been working in me over this last 2 years. I have been surprised to learn a bit about my own country’s role when it comes to the spiritual needs of the world. Through the statistics and numbers I have acquired. I almost feel sick to know that there is MUCH more we could be doing collectively.

I’m going to list just a few reasons why Christians do not “do” evangelism. Why people don’t feel “called” to missional/evangelical work, weather in the states or abroad.

One big one and probably very prevalent is BAD EXAMPLES:
Everyone knows THAT GUY on the corner, on the soap box yelling scripture into the masses.
While this person may be performing the work “in crying aloud from the housetops“, in America they are not heard because of the western cultural boundaries in place.

The Greek word “Kerusso” means town crier. One who stands and speaks aloud. Now this person can speak scripture, news, or other pertinent announcements and potentially be heard from the towns people because this is excepted in many cultures abroad. A lot of cultures still listen to people that have something to say…this would have explained Jeremiah’s, Jonah’s,Isaiah’s and many more peoples positions in being heard.Evangelism was not and, is not such a foreign thing in foreign nations..

Another reason is simple UNBELIEF. Unbelief will keep a believer at bay in the majority of spiritual directions he or she may want to walk. It is a silent killer with a screaming repercussion.
Unbelief is sin! Shocking? Shouldn’t be, its in the bible. Mark 16:14 records “Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen”

Unbelief is one of the severe hindrances of the work of God in the Life of a believer.
Matthew 13:58 “And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith”
Unbelief does not hinder the Lords ability to perform, but stops Him from doing the work He so desires to do. because its rooted in pride, and God resists us when we are proud. Remember the doubting man is unstable in all His ways. God’s call is merciful but straight forward as a whole…believe or don’t. Ruthless unbelief is so bold as to call God a liar, to say He is incapable.

Another very big reason why a Christian will not step out in the command to evangelize is FEAR.
All of us can recall a time where we either held back as to not offend someone with the truth, or didn’t say anything at all for FEAR of what that person might think of us, as we associate ourselves with our controversial Christ.
Isaiah is used by God to thwart this:
Chapter 51 verses 12,13
12 “I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you that you fear mortal men,
the sons of men, who are but grass,
13 that you forget the LORD your Maker,
who stretched out the heavens
and laid the foundations of the earth,
that you live in constant terror every day
because of the wrath of the oppressor,
who is bent on destruction?
For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

You put faith into what you fear. You have yielded your strength to the object of your fear and said to it “ You alone can overtake me”, Proverbs says that the beginning of our wisdom and knowledge is in the fear of God alone. He alone is the one who can overcome us, but in Him we become “MORE than conquerers”

___________________________________________________________________________________

PUSH TO BECOME CHRISTIAN

I think a lot of us are waiting for this, especially having grown up in an instant society. And even more to our indictment (if I can make one:) in the absence of such, we absolve ourselves to “I have not been called to A,B or C”
WRONG
Its not my mere opinion to say that the CALL came 2000 years ago. However, the Commission seems to have two, significant but not popular requirements. Abandonment and self-denial. Two things that are imperative, and though they may be contemplated, are not often applied,
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Send:

It is not the Christian’s goal to bring everyone to Christ, but to bring Christ to everyone.

There is bad news then to the “everyone” we hope to bring Him to.

Within the last decade we estimated that there are some 24,000 different people groups in the world today. Out of that number, 13,500 are unreached with the very name of our Lord. That is over 50%.

*Now be careful to understand that this does not mean what it might mean to us in the US. These people have never even heard the name Jesus, have no idea who He is and what the Lord has done through His Son. These people are still crawling on bloody knees on miles long pilgrimages to be absolved of their sin, sacrificing their very own children if it would relieve them of the weight of condemnation.

95% of these people groups reside in the 10/40 window.

4% of missionaries are sent to the 10/40 window…4%…

That means that a staggering 96% of missionaries, evangelists or ambassadors for Christ are somewhere reached, preaching to the choir.

“No man deserves to hear the gospel twice, until everyone has heard it once” -Oswald J Smith

Its about now, if you are reading this, that would be a good time for you to understand a bit further what this means.

**Place your index and middle finger on your neck and find your pulse. Once you’ve done so, count a few beats.

The average human heart beats about 80,000 times in a day, the average number of people dying a day in the 10/40 window is about 80,000. Dying with out Jesus, will always, has always, and IS sending people to Hell.

And the Lord will require and account from US.

America has over 1.5 million Christian leaders, an average of 4 bibles per household, 0.08% of giving is directed toward the need in the 10/40 window-this means that 99.92% of giving is going toward the house is some fashion. We own multiple cars, multiple houses, spend thousands of dollars a day on Starbucks alone….and if you are thinking to yourself “I dont have that money, I’m always broke, I dont even drink Starbucks” just wait….because EVEN IF you were pushing a shopping cart down the street, with only the clothes on your back, you still fall into the top 10 percentile of the wealthiest in the world, simply because of whats available to you.

Christians spend:
99.9% of Christian income on themselves
0.09% on the Evangelized Non-Christian World
0.01% on the Unevangelized World

NOW of course, these statistics are assuming that all who claim to be Christian, are indeed Christian, but unfortunately thats not always the case.

Check out the stats for human need, an most of these other stats for yourself. They are on several sites but here is one reputable source: http://www.gordonconwell.edu/sites/default/files/gd18.pdf

Those are just a few reasons.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

DISOBEY:

“therefore, to him who knows to do good, and does not do it, to that man it is sin” James 4:17

Listen, this is NOT a guilt trip, legalism, bondage, or any other type of thing that is ANYTHING but true.

It would not be worth my time to place useless guilt on you. It is incredibly worth my time to lay an opportunity before you to stop feeling and being stagnant, to know you’re purpose in a more intimate manor, and to go where I think David Livingstone says it best “Where Life and death, sin and grace, Heaven and Hell converge“…the mission field. This is a biblical call, to either Go, Send or Disobey.

As I come into the awareness, its my only duty to cause others to benefit from the grace I have received and be made aware as well.

“The church that does not evangelize, will fossilize”

So if it is a question of obedience, do what is always fit. Take it up with the scriptures:

“Be a worker approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth“

Settled in here at the base, we have orientation all week, then lectures begin.
All day I have had this small thought cluster running through my head. “You’re too old for this, you should be finishing school like you wanted to, how is money going to come in, what am I doing with my life, all these kids are…well… kids, and on and on my “logical” thought process goes.
I can say this single thing in confidence as my rebuttal- “If the Lord had not made it so abundantly clear that this was the path He wanted me on, I wouldn’t be here” Ive strained my ear to listen, and this is what I heard: “Follow Me” and so I walk, forward and further in.
I have no idea what the next six months holds, where money will come from, or what is happening after this season in Jan. And I can say after a day of mulling it over…I choose not concern myself with such things. I have an amazing circle of family that is encouragement and sound wisdom in my ear. The King uses these greatly in my life. So thank you family. I love you too!

**A kid flew in today from Switzerland. He gave me a piece of chocolate and I gave him a guitar lesson. Pretty awesome transaction if you ask me.

I was able to inquire a bit more on the country I will be going to for two months. At this time, the country is to remain undisclosed for safety purposes, but I can tell you this. The people there are not much different than you and I. They live in a place where fashion reign’s supreme, and the social demographics are based on such. You don’t dress well, you’re spit on, and a plebeian to be socially ostracized. The entire country has been infiltrated with Islam, and a spirit of hopelessness.

Much like the bubble that western culture has created..we have things and money, therefore no desperation for the Lord. The only difference, they reside in the 10/40 window and rarely will you find someone who has even HEARD about Jesus…that blows my mind. 21st century, cars, fashion, lifestyles of the rich and famous….but oh so lost.
We’ll shall see, my friends, what the Lord allows me to look in on, both here and over there. Love you guys. Im beat!. Night.

I’ve met so many people since I took that initial step to join, as well as experienced so many amazing opportunities, but I am at the beginning of another season.

A few months ago, I decided to take a vacation home to California. While I was out here, the Lord made it clear that I was not allowed to come back to Texas at this time. Though I am to return, now (as I planned) is not His timing. He directed me very clearly, through several different avenues to an organization named Youth With A Mission. They are heavily involved in bringing the Kingdom of God to Las Vegas, and the world. It’s apparent that this is the path I must take for the next 5 months

The Discipleship Training Program

starts August 9th, and ends Jan 7th. This includes 4 months of lectures and training, then the last 2 months we are sent the Middle East for outreach. I was informed by the director of this organization that on rare occasions they will accept a student who does not have the money/support up front, as long as he/she acquires the needed funds through support during the first four months they attend, as well as the trip. They have accepted me.

MIDDLE EAST

The mission trip will be in Middle East. I have not been informed yet on the exact location but this part of the World is known as the 10/40 window. This is where 95% of the world who have not heard the name of Christ reside. 80,000 people a day are dying without even hearing the name of Jesus. Just to give you an idea of the need there, according to GFA there is only 1 missionary/pastor to every 78, 000 converts in that region. There are some 1.5 million Christian leaders/pastors in America. There is a need for these people…and I believe together we can meet that need. (stats taken from Revolution in World Missions by K.P. Yohannon)

If we offer ourselves as living sacrifices to the Lord, and confess our sin of turning away from Him, to affluence and pleasure and seek Him with all of our hearts. He WILL come and heal our Land. Myself, you and the rest of the body of Christ are His hands and feet. We stand in the gap, and proclaim the risen Lord.

Please pray with me in this endeavor. Love you guys.

I will be keeping you updated and informed on what the Lord is doing on the front lines of the church and in my life.
